About Me

A law student exploring various laws, real world cases, and making legal concepts simple.

Why I Started This Blog

Law has always had this reputation of being dense, intimidating, and somehow removed from everyday life. But the more I studied it, the more I realized that wasn’t the law’s fault. It was the way it was being communicated.
I’m Suhani, a law student at Amity University Rajasthan, and I started Law Decode because I genuinely believe that understanding your legal rights shouldn’t require a law degree. Whether it’s knowing what happens when your data gets misused, or figuring out what the IT Act actually means for you as an internet user, this stuff matters. And it shouldn’t be locked behind jargon.
This blog is my attempt to change that by one topic at a time.

My Approach

I don’t believe in explaining law for the sake of sounding smart. Every post on Law Decode starts with one question : does this actually make sense to someone who isn’t a lawyer? I focus on stripping away the complexity without losing the substance, because clarity and accuracy aren’t opposites. Whether I’m breaking down a Supreme Court judgment or explaining a provision of the IT Act, the goal is always the same: connect the legal theory to something real, something you might actually encounter in your life. Law becomes useful only when it’s understood and that’s exactly what I’m here for.
